Exterior Lighting Study (UE5)

These are a series of exterior lighting studies done in UE5. The barn and surrounding environment are mostly based on assets created in This portfolio piece.




Here's my material setup for the barn structure. Of note is a fake ground AO effect to imitate dirt at the base of the structure, as well as a triplanar grunge and wetness parameter (used in the overcast image).




The scene is also using several localized volumetric fog meshes. Here's the material setup for that as well.
